INT. GLASS BLOWING STUDIO FURNACE-DAY

The camera angles on a FLAME as it burns against an ORB OF GLASS attached to a METAL ROD. The camera follows the orb as its placed in a HEATED FURNACE and rotated around. A HEAVILY GLOVED HAND moves into the frame and pulls the rod out.

INT. GLASS BLOWING STUDIO WORK BENCH-DAY

The gloved hand, attached to CURTIS MAYWOOD (50’s, black) hammers the orb and molds it into a shape. The image of the orb is reflected in Curtis’ goggles.

INT. GLASS BLOWING STUDIO BOXING AREA-DAY

We see Curtis delicately place a GLASS OBJECT into a box filled with other glass objects. He closes the box up, and tapes the top.

EXT. US # 1 FLEA MARKET -DAWN

We follow the back of Curtis as he walks down the flea market aisle, holding the large box. The sounds of the flea market surround us. Different VENDORS greet Curtis as he walks by. Finally, he reaches the end of the hallway, where a LARGE WHITE TABLE is set up. He places the box on the table and opens it up.

We now see Curtis’ face as he places the objects on the table. When he places the last item on the table, he steps away and admires his work. A nearby VENDOR walks over and whistles at the table.

VENDOR
Goddamn Curtis, you out did yourself this time! Those are gonna sell like hotcakes! You know you gotta save me one, right?

CURTIS
You better come over here and get you one like everyone else. I don’t reserve these for anyone- it’s first come, first serve.

Finally, we see the table. Beautiful GLASS BONGS AND GLASS PIPES, in assorted colors and shapes, line the entirety of the surface. Each piece is beautifully handcrafted, and tells its own individual story.

VENDOR
Aight, bet. Let me just go back to my stall to get some money. I don’t know how you do it, but smoking out of one of these is the closest I’ve come to seeing GOD. They even make skunk weed taste top shelf. You on some real next level shit. Hold on, I’ll be right back.

The Vendor walks off and Curtis smiles proudly to himself.
